About 1 hour 30 minutes — roughly 130 km via the Trans-Canada Highway. Most Banff tours from Calgary leave early to maximize time at Lake Louise and Moraine Lake and beat mid-day traffic. From Canmore, Banff town is just 25 minutes away.

From CAD $119 for a half-day shuttle to Lake Louise and Moraine Lake, or from CAD $149 for a full-day tour that adds destinations like Johnston Canyon, Banff town or the Icefields Parkway. All tour prices include Banff National Park entrance fees. Private tours are custom-quoted.

Round-trip transport in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle, a professional local guide, all Banff National Park entrance fees ($12.25 per-adult value) for every guest, bottled water and snacks, and free 24-hour cancellation. Lunch isn't included on full-day tours, but we stop where you can buy your own.

We pick up from three central locations rather than individual hotels: Delta Hotel Downtown Calgary (at the bus stop directly across the street), Canmore Visitor Centre (free parking), and Banff Caribou Lodge. If you're not near one of these, we can sometimes arrange a custom pickup for an additional fee — message us on WhatsApp before booking.

Moraine Lake is accessible from June 1 to mid-October, depending on snow. Outside that window the access road closes (avalanche risk) and the lake freezes. Because private vehicles have been banned from Moraine Lake Road since 2023, most visitors need the Parks Canada shuttle — which sells out weeks ahead. On our tours, we handle Moraine Lake access directly, so there’s no shuttle to book. In the closed months (mid-October–May), our winter tours visit Lake Louise, Johnston Canyon (optional ice walk), Marble Canyon and other year-round stops instead.

Half-day tours run 5.5 hours, depart from Canmore and Banff only (no Calgary pickup), and focus on Lake Louise and Moraine Lake. Full-day tours run 10–12 hours, depart from Calgary, Canmore or Banff, and add stops like Johnston Canyon, Banff town or the Icefields Parkway, with a lunch stop where you buy your own meal. Half-day tours end by 1–2 PM.

Yes — they suit seniors, families and most travellers with average mobility. Stops are reached by short, mostly flat walks (under 10–15 minutes), except the Johnston Canyon Lower Falls hike, which has uneven terrain and a gentle uphill grade. We offer senior-friendly private tours with relaxed pacing and shorter walks on request. Children of all ages are welcome — mention car-seat or booster needs when booking.

Yes — we run guided tours year-round from Calgary, Canmore and Banff. Summer tours (June–October) include Moraine Lake access, autumn colour and longer hikes at Johnston Canyon and the Icefields Parkway. Winter tours (November–May) feature Johnston Canyon ice walks with crampons, frozen Marble Canyon, snowshoeing, and far quieter trails than summer.
